At Imagine! We are big on providing an enriching and ‘enabling’ environment for our children, a positive environment that is filled with love and warmth, that makes our children feel Safe, Secure and Special. (3S). We believe children develop best when all 3S’s are ticked, they are then able to confidently explore their environment. This notion sets the basis for our day to day activities; from our welcoming hugs to our sing – along songs, everything is intentionally set up to give a wide range of learning opportunities for our early learners.
Children learn best through a self – discovery process where they can try new things through play, exploration and exposure. This understanding makes us deliberate in our approach to learning – we ensure developmentally -appropriate learning opportunities that actively engages a child’s critical thinking skills and allows them to construct meaning from the world around them, helping them to become self -confident in their abilities to learn, to create, to imagine!

Our Mind Rooms

Here at Imagine!, we do not have class rooms, we have Mind Rooms, the rooms where our learning activities take place are designed to stimulate the minds of the students and is aptly named

Cocoon Room (6 weeks to 12 months)

Cocoon Room: A Beautiful Space for Babies to Grow
At Imagine, we are able to accommodate children from 6 weeks old in our Baby Room; In this room, we understand the importance to keep our babies safe - Hygiene is utmost priority for this room - it is a large room with lots of natural light and a cosy Sleep Room, which is attended at all times. At this stage we are aware of the importance of children feeling.

Heuristic Play is introduced from this room (Heuristic play is about playing with real-life, everyday objects and providing kids with an opportunity for open-ended discovery.For babies and toddlers, Goldschmeid’s approach to heuristic play revolves around them using their senses and exploring a treasure basket filled with real-world objects made from any material (apart from plastic) that comes from nature and around the house. It is through handling and exploring these objects that babies and toddlers begin to make their own choices and decisions and start to gain an understanding of the world around them.

Children move on to our Toddler Section – a range of rooms where they can explore experiences including construction, imaginative play, and the exploration of materials. They are cared for by our educators with support from specialists in Music, French, Art, Swimming and Engineering for kids, who will work with the children through these enrichment programs.

Bud Room (13 months to 23 months)

A Bud Room: Emerging Explorers

Our Indoor playarea serves as a chill zone and as a media room.

Our MindAiders

Our personnel are well qualified educationists, committed to providing a warm, supportive environment to enhance learning, creativity and social interactions. Our personnel members have a sincere interest in children to help them connect the dots in their minds to make meaning of the information they are being exposed to. All personnel go through induction training, where they are indoctrinated on our core values and goals as a child care center, they also undergo trainings on CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Child development, curriculum planning and group management. We have systems to monitor quality and evaluate effectiveness of daily activities to maximize quality and excellence in education that is delivered to our children.
